Councillor Mike White reached out to FOHP today to assure us both of his unwavering support, and that of other local Councillors and BoP Officers, for the paddling pool project.
He asked us to assure FOHP members and the local community that he, together with the BoP project team, are working flat out to identify finance options.
Anthony Rodgers, Recreation Manager, Borough of Poole, has also said:
“Following an open tender exercise, the Council received quotes that exceeded our anticipated budget. We remain fully committed to the refurbishment of Hamworthy Park Paddling Pool, and are working to explore finance options to deliver the project successfully.”
We are very pleased to have received these assurances.
