Getting to Hamworthy Park

By Car

Hamworthy Park has a small surface car park with around 60 spaces. It fills up quickly, especially in summer. Check our parking charges here. There is free on-street parking on surrounding roads, but spaces are in high demand during summer months. Please park considerately, avoid blocking driveways and be mindful of pedestrians.

By Bus

Several buses serve Hamworthy Park:

  • Number 8 & Number 9 Poole Circular – Run all year round. Timetables can be found here :
  • Number 60 Summer Breezer Open-Top Bus – A seasonal open top route connecting Rockley to Sandbanks via the park – Watch a video here

By Foot, Bike or Scooter

Hamworthy Park is well-connected by cycle paths, with safe bike racks near The Cafe in the Park. You can cycle almost all the way from Wimborne or Whitecliff via dedicated routes. Check the cycle maps here.
