If you are taking a walk around the park, keep your eyes open for the first signs of spring. One of our volunteers found the first Crocus showing signs of opening. Although they are hard to spot, they are there if you look closely.
Hopefully, they are the first of many as over the last few years the Friends, assisted by local children, have planted thousands of bulbs. Last Autumn, Muddy Boots helped us to plant another few hundred. Thank you!
Some Daffodils are also showing signs of waking up, and green shoots can be seen in the planters along Blandford Road too. This gives us hope that Spring is not too far away – things can only get better and hopefully warmer!
