Thank you to everyone who came today to help plant the bulbs in the park! After a bit of a grey start we had a lovely morning, with people coming and going throughout the day.

We hope that the bulb planting will contribute to improving the entrance to the park, all carried out by a band of volunteers. Thanks to the Borough of Poole for supporting. We sprung this on them a bit last-minute and they pulled out the stops to help prepare the beds for the planting.

The Friends have a gardening group in the park who meet at 10am on Wednesdays outside the Cafe.

Join us, and you’ll meet other residents, get some gentle exercise and fresh air, and light refreshments, as well as helping make Hamworthy Park look even more attractive.

We can’t wait to see results in spring!
