We are pleased to announce a full return of events on Hamworthy Park for 2022!
It’s been a few years since the Friends ran a full spread of events, but don’t worry. All your favourites are back! And the best thing is that all proceeds go back into park projects to maintain and improve everything our fantastic park has to offer.
Spring
The annual Easter egg hunt in the park is always lots of fun for kids and adults alike! The FOHP Stall will be there with games, fun and prizes to be won. This is followed in May by the highly anticipated Plant Sale. The perfect opportunity to get your garden growing for the summer.
Summer
This is the main event for 2022! Stalls, bouncy castles, food, games, prizes and entertainment! It’s a good old-fashioned day out in the park.
Autumn
After all that growing, it’s harvest time. The produce sale has locally grown fruit and veg along with homemade jams, chutneys cakes and more. You won’t find such locally sourced produce anywhere else!
Winter
We’ll be joining St Michael’s Church for the Christmas Fayre on November 26th at St Michael’s. More details to follow.
As well as these events, we will be running various volunteering sessions throughout the year. Do keep an eye on our website and Facebook page. And if you fancy joining the Wednesday volunteers, just drop down on any Wednesday from 9.30am and get stuck in.
